The ambiance was intimate but lively. Great music playing in the background. The service was great- Nina was so kind and offered great suggestions. The food was robust with flavor and a generous portion. The chicken bites were crispy, a little sweet and tangy. The Jollof rice with crispy catfish was cooked to perfection. It came with black beans (delicious!) and sweet plantains. The burger was good but definitely worth skipping and trying other menu items. The house lemonade was so refreshing and not too sweet. Overall wonderful experience. Will be back!

One of the most memorable meals I’ve had in LA — perfect vibe for a bday dinner, can’t stop thinking about the Honey Berbere chicken bites & root beer braised short ribs. Cocktails & dessert were outstanding too, and staff here is so wonderful 🙌

One of the best meals I’ve had all year! After hearing so many great things from friends, my friend and I finally tried this spot and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Honey Berbere Chicken Bites, Lamb and White Bean Hummus, and I had the Garlic Noodles with fried catfish. Everything was incredible. I also had the Sentinela Sour and it was so refreshing. I wanted to try the sweet potato churro but I was too full. I’ll definitely be back soon for dinner and brunch. Highly recommend checking it out and supporting this amazing Black owned restaurant!

This was my first time visiting LA and wow, this meal left a mark. I made a dinner reservation for one at the bar. The staff were very friendly and pointed me to my seat right away. I had the corner seat facing a wall. It was also near the curtains leading to the bathroom, which made it feel a bit “in the way.” But I guess that’s typical when dining solo in a smaller space. However, my meal was better than expected. I ordered the garlic noodles with berbere shrimp, which were full of flavor. I also loved the crunchy flakes added on top. The portion size is big and great for leftovers. I wish I hadn’t been too full to try dessert. Definitely give this place a shot. This also seems like the perfect date night spot.

We walked in without a reservation, and the host let us know they were fully booked. However, he kindly offered to accommodate us if we could finish within an hour — and that hour was nothing short of amazing. The chicken bites are a must-try, the grilled broccolini was perfectly prepared, and the garlic noodles with chicken were incredible. And I honestly didn’t need dessert… but I’m so glad I ordered it because the Plantain Sticky Cake was absolutely delicious. Everything was a 10/10. We were in and out within 45 minutes, and I completely understand why reservations are recommended. The restaurant went from nearly empty to fully packed within minutes as we were leaving. Chef’s kiss!

Ok, I have to admit that when I parked outside I had my doubts and thought "Did I make a good choice?". Yes, I did indeed! This place transported me to NYC and those cozy, chic, jazz sensation restaurant that you get after walking thru a lonely alley in the streets of NYC hahaha. Not only the atmosphere is amaizing, but the service, the food, the music transport you to another place entirely. As a reviewer, I have visited SEVERAL places. But this one is for sure staying in my "favorite" list. Pro tip: You HAVE to have the dessert I posted in this review....can't remember the name, but I sure will remember the amazing flavor. ❤️

This place is wonderful the food is exquisite. (Short ribs) is the best. Appetizers are more than enough for two people. You can't go wrong with anything off the menu. The place is a bit small. Reservations is a must. It can get very cozy with the next tables. U less you have a table of four. There's ample parking next door in the Ralph's parking lot. You may get lucky enough to park in front. Over-all... first rate. I love it here!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Two Hommés is officially my new favorite restaurant. The restaurant is located adjacent to a parking lot with ample parking, which is always a plus. The space itself is small, intimate, and has limited seating, so I highly recommend making a reservation. Even with a reservation, be prepared to wait a bit: it was extremely busy when we visited. Service was on the slower side, but once the food arrived, it was absolutely worth the wait. Our server Mo was wonderful! The menu is a bit pricey, but the portions are generous. I actually had leftovers to take home, which made the value feel much more reasonable. We started with the Sentinela Sour cocktail and a watermelon lemonade. Both were delicious and refreshing. For food, the garlic noodles with cilantro and Thai basil were packed with flavor and incredibly tasty. The standout was the whole fish, served butterfly-style over spinach with crispy potatoes and a rich, flavorful tomato butter sauce. The fish was perfectly seasoned, and the crispy potatoes complemented it beautifully. Every bite was outstanding. The plantains deserve special recognition. Finding truly ripe, sweet plantains can be surprisingly difficult, but Two Hommés nailed them. They were plump, juicy, sweet, and cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the Lamb Dibi Ssam and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. To finish, we ordered the plantain sticky desert and WOW. It was hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Absolutely unforgettable and the perfect ending to an incredible meal. Every single thing we ordered was exceptional. The flavors were bold, thoughtful, and beautifully executed. Despite the wait and higher price point, the quality of the food made it more than worth it. Two Hommés has earned a permanent spot on my favorites list, and I can’t wait to return again and again. Highly recommended. ❤️🍽️🔥

We were blown away by this spot. The energy, the music, and the food of course; top tier! Flavors were so vivid and quality was out of this world. Our favorite was the lamb white bean hummus with that incredible flatbread.

We celebrated a birthday here, and the service was so great. We were a large party, and our drinks never went empty, and the staff always made sure that we were good. The food, was outrageous. Everything that we ordered was so flavorful and seasoned to perfection, that it felt like it was made just for our table. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
